Wander through narrow alleys and hidden corners where the true spirit of the Saigonese comes alive — in their laughter, hospitality, and daily rhythms. Along the way, admire French-built landmarks, bustling markets, and colorful local neighborhoods that reveal the city’s fascinating transformation.

- Kick start our exciting day with a short cyclo ride (rickshaw ride, 40 minutes) to Ho Thi Ky Alleys, with a short break at the Monument of Thich Quang Duc – the burning monk.
- Upon arrival at Ho Thi Ky alleys, we will enjoy a short walk (20 minutes) in the alleys and visit Saigon’s largest wholesaled flower market which has been here for almost a century
- Drive to Cho Lon (known as china town) and stroll through the backstreets market of Tan Thanh where hundreds of U.S ammunition boxes found their way to this market after the Vietnam War and are now being reused as toolboxes
- We go on to visit Binh Tay Market, the largest wholesaled market in Saigon
- Pay a visit to Thien Hau Pagoda
- Savor our lunch at 46A restaurant with Saigonese styled & giant crepes with pork, prawn, beansprouts, etc., and beautiful home-made spring rolls
- Afternoon: we will visit the sobering War Remnants Museum and the historic French-built landmarks i.e. Notre Dame Cathedral, Central Post Office and the City Opera House
NOTICE: Notre Dame Cathedral is under massive renovation. Thus, we can only view it and take photos from distance. Thank you for your understanding and apologies for the inconvenience!
- Wrap up our day with some free time for your own shopping at Ben Thanh Central Market
