Today we will unveil the highlights of one of Asia’s most vibrant and welcoming cities, Saigon (as it is still popularly known as). It is a cultural melting pot with something to offer every traveler.
There is no better time for visiting Saigon while it passes through a remarkable and rapid phase of transformation – going from some millions bicycles in the 90s, Saigon now is a city of some 6 million scooters and a few hundred thousand of cars.
Above all, experiencing the heartfelt warmth and humor for which the Saigonese are renowned will stay with you long after you’ve departed for home. The alleys walk is designed to enable you to experience the real face of Saigon which will surely catch you by surprise.
For over a century, millions of Saigonese have been living and earning their decent life in thousands of alleys which may well be anyone’s mind-blowing experience!

- Kick start our exciting day with a short cyclo ride (rickshaw ride, 40 minutes) to Ho Thi Ky Alleys, with a short break at the Monument of Thich Quang Duc – the burning monk.
- Upon arrival at Ho Thi Ky alleys, we will enjoy a short walk (20 minutes) in the alleys and visit Saigon’s largest wholesaled flower market which has been here for almost a century
- Drive to Cho Lon (known as china town) and stroll through the backstreets market of Tan Thanh where hundreds of U.S ammunition boxes found their way to this market after the Vietnam War and are now being reused as toolboxes
- We go on to visit Binh Tay Market, the largest wholesaled market in Saigon
- Pay a visit to Thien Hau Pagoda
- Savor our lunch at 46A restaurant with Saigonese styled & giant crepes with pork, prawn, beansprouts, etc., and beautiful home-made spring rolls
- Afternoon: we will visit the sobering War Remnants Museum and the historic French-built landmarks i.e. Notre Dame Cathedral, Central Post Office and the City Opera House
NOTICE: Notre Dame Cathedral is under massive renovation. Thus, we can only view it and take photos from distance. Thank you for your understanding and apologies for the inconvenience!
- Wrap up our day with some free time for your own shopping at Ben Thanh Central Market

- We only run private and customizable tours. There isn’t a group tour option nor do we team our guests up for a group.
- We offer free pickup and drop-off from District 1, 3, 4, 5, 10 and Phu Nhuan. Pickup/drop-off outside of this area and airport transfers are subject to extra charges.
- Some of the stops can be slightly changed, depends on actual time of travel
- While traveling with us, your luggage will be safe in the car with our driver. However, we are NOT responsible for your money, jewelries, cell phones, and any other valuable belongings
